Profile
The profile page is where your personal profile and your applications are displayed. If you haven't uploaded a profile image, please do so. Otherwise you will never get any Karma points . To upload or change your profile image go to Profile ---> Change profile image.
Your profile details are displayed on the right side of the page. You may edit it through the edit button. Your Friends are displayed under the Profile details, and a button to list all your friends.
Below your profile name are some details displayed; Karma, Member since, Last online and Profile views. Below them you may update your status, such as what you are currently up to, etc. This board will also update you with any incoming message or friend requests.

Moving on you will find a menu with some functions. "Invite friends" button allow you to invite friends by adding their emails. Next are "Upload photos", "Add applications" and "Start new group".
Other than above, the Profile page also displays the latest activities you and your friends been up to. Below that is the list of applications that you have added on.

Karma
Karma is a user point system used at redsherpa.com. It shows how active you are in the social network. Karma will only be activated when you have uploaded a profile image. Otherwise, you will never get any karma points.

Groups
Under the groups tab, shows which groups you currently join.

Wall
In the Wall, you, your friends and other members are able to leave a comment on your Profile Page.
You can post Youtube videos by typing {youtube}...{/youtube}

Let's say the Youtube link is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=voYkKxSPkfw&feature=related
To paste the Youtube video on the Wall, you do this:

Adding websites in custom fields on your profile
To add add a website url in custom fields on your profile, add the string http:// followed by your url address. For example http://www.redsherpa.com. This will automatically converted it to a clickable hyperlink.

Applications
The Applications will activate the community features on your Profile, so friends and other members can see what you have been up to lately. You can choose which application you would like to have on your account. To see your list of applications, go to Applications --> Browse
To edit it, go to Application --> Edit. Here, you will be able to:
1. Find out what these applications are used for.
2. Settings for some of the applications based on your preferences, like for Feeds.
3. Set the arrangement of applications by dragging it (ctrl + drag up or down).
4. Adjust the privacy setting of each application. We recommend to only allow members on all settings.
5. Remove added applications that you do not want to use anymore. You can add them again later.

List of Applications
• Walls - Allows you and other members to add comments on your Profile.
• Groups - Allows you to display your groups that you have joined and manage your groups.
• Feeds - Add and show your favourite RSS Feeds on your Profile.
• Blog - Enables to show your blog entries on your Profile.
• Forum Posts - Allows you to show your recent forum posts on your Profile.
• Videos - Enables you to show your added videos from the Video Gallery.
• Embed Videos - Enables you to embed videos from the YouTube on Walls.
• Twitter updates - Allows you to show your updates from Twitter.

Personal Messaging
Redsherpa personal messaging system allows you to send a message to any site member easily. There are two ways to send a message, to your friends via your own inbox or by clicking on a members profile and write a message.

Groups
You can join and participate in groups easily. Before you can post on the group wall or create a discussion, you will first need to become a member of the group. Click the "Join Now" to join your group.
To manage Group that you have joined, go to Applications --> Groups
Here, you can view the current groups, search a group as well as view groups that you have joined. You can also create a new group.

Announcement
Announcements lists all bulletins you with to make to the group. Announcements does not support replies. Only Group founder can Create Bulletin for Announcements.

Discussion
Discussion lists all discussions anyone posts in the groups. Discussions support replies from group members.

Wall
The Wall supports wall posts from members of a group. The Wall also supports adding youtube videos as discribed above. Only Group founder can Remove Wall posts.

Photos
To manage your photos, go to Applications --> Photos
Here you can create your own albums, upload photos and browse them. You can edit the title above each photo while viewing it. You can also set your favourite photo as an album cover. You find this option in the menu to the right, while viewing photos.
